I believe in being prepared, yet intuitive. My career path might not be linear, but it’s been fun: sports journalist, political writer; then on to Ecuador and Italy to teach English. Along the way I’ve learned: a few foreign languages, how political campaigns really work, the value  of letting students lead the way, and how to crank out a story on deadline.

I’ve recently moved from Italy to New York City (one of my favorite places in the world).  My current position is freelance Marketing and Communications Coordinator for a non-profit association (AAPAR).
